Sustainability and profit are forever battling in the minds of innovators; the pursuit of one often neglects the consideration of the other. Samay Bansal's talk about the future of the newest culinary trend, the Food Truck, discusses the need for the industry to work towards the 3 P's: People, Planet, and Profit. It discusses artistic talent, gender equality, environmental sustainability... all served with a side of fries! Being a foodie at heart, Samay Bansal is intrigued by all things gastronomy. His passion drives him to explore, investigate, and question how the world (of food) works. Samay believes that sustainability is about a lot more than just our environment, and that it isn't the planet that needs saving - it's us! By combining humour, passion, and a serious message, Samay makes his message heard to the masses. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
